The Fixed prefix feature is available for all models of the Essence family (GDP-06, GDP-06i, GDP-06e, GDP-09).

When this feature is activated the preset prefix is added before all dialed numbers (both dialed manually and from contact list, hotkey or call history). This feature is typically used when some virtual PBX is in place.

Set the prefix

Enter the code *##03*prefix# on the standby screen and confirm it by the green tick button. The maximum length of prefix is 15 digits. When pause in dialing is required, insert P within the prefix (press the button 0 and hold it for 2 seconds to type P).
Example: Enter *##03*11# to set the prefix 11. If the code is accepted, phone replies OK.
 
 

Clear the prefix

Enter the code *##03*# and confirm it by the green tick button.
 
 

Show the current prefix

Enter the code *##03# and confirm it by the green tick button. As a response, phone shows the currently set prefix. If no prefix is set, Essence shows empty screen.
